BACOLOD City – Mayor Evelio Leonardia announced that regular city hall employees, including appointed officials, numbering to 1,375 will each receive a total of P40,000 in bonuses.
The perks include the collective negotiation agreement incentive (P25,000), productivity enhancement incentive (P5,000) and the service recognition incentive (P10,000).
Leonardia said the budget for the bonus will be submitted to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for approval.
With Leonardia in the presscon are Councilor Al Victor Espino, City and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran.
Budget Officer Maria Imelda Williams said Leonardia has maximized the allowable bonus to be given to the city government employees.
Leonardia said job order workers are not included in the bonus as there is no basis for such benefit.
He explained what they did two years ago was increase the salaries of job order workers from P8,000 to P10,000.
