ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The most wanted person in Dao, Capiz was arrested in Palawan province.
The police identified the suspect as Reynaldo Tanong, 57, a native of Barangay Ilas Norte, Dao, Capiz.
The suspect was arrested about 6 p.m. Tuesday at the house of a relative in Palawan through the joint efforts of the Capiz and Palawan police.
Tanong was accused of murder before the sala of Regional Trial Court Branch 15 Judge Kristine Vinculado.
He is also facing frustrated murder and attempted murder charges in RTC Branch 19.
Tanong went into hiding after he shot dead Ilas Sur kagawad (council member) Roger Capulso in February 2017.
The suspect will be brought back to Capiz to face the charges against him.
