Eight more COVID-19 cases in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Eight more confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported here on Thursday.

The new cases are:

Case No. 162: a 22-year-old lady, a health worker from Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) and resident of Brgy. Lawaan;

Case No.163: a 28-year-old male health worker of a private hospital in the city, a resident of Mendoza Subdivision, Inzo Arnaldo Village, Roxas City and quarantined in the hospital;

Case No.164: a 30-year-old male DOH health worker and resident of Tabuc. He is symptomatic and admitted to a private hospital;

Case No.165: a 23-year-old salesman from Brgy. Mongpong. He is under quarantine;

Case No.166: a 16-year-old man from Brgy. Mongpong and close contact of case Case No. 164;

Case No.167: a 61-year-old female of Graceville Subd., Brgy. Tiza;

Case No.168: a 45-year-old businessman and resident of Brgy. Banica. He is admitted to RMPH;

Case No.169: a 75-year-old businessman and resident of Brgy. Banica.

Meanwhile, four people who recovered from COVID-19 were:

Recovered Case No. 87: a 31-year-old female health worker;

Recovered Case No. 88: a 27-year-old female health worker and resident of Mongpong;

Recovered Case No. 89: a 21-year-old man, resident of Brgy. Sibaguan;

Recovered Case No. 90: a 21-year-old girl, resident of Brgy. Sibaguan.

At present, COVID-19 cases in Roxas City have risen to 169, with 60 active cases, 90 recoveries and 19 deaths.
