Three persons, including a former Army soldier, were arrested Thursday evening for allegedly threatening a lady in Ilog, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspects as Ruel Repolidon of Matina, Davao City; Rodolfo Oropesa of Bantayan, Cebu but temporarily residing at So. Lupni, Brgy. Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental; and Ernie Palaran y Pasignase of Sitio Busay, Brgy. Galicia, Ilog.
Repolidon was assigned to the Army’s 79th Infantry Battalion in Cauayan, Negros Occidental before he was dismissed from service.
The trio was arrested Thursday evening at Sitio Embarkadero, Brgy .1, Ilog for grave threats and violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
Arlen Henarios of said village told the police that the suspects threatened her with a knife for still unknown reasons.
Police seized from the suspects three revolvers, a knife, three cellphones, and other personal items.
