The Farm Fresh Foxies just got stronger.
After a sub-par debut during the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference, the rookie franchise was quick in fortifying its roster for the upcoming season this February after signing top spikers Jolina Dela Cruz and Caitlyn Viray to fresh contracts last January 13, 2024.
From a win-loss record of two wins and nine losses last All-Filipino Conference, Farm Fresh is hoping for a better finish this year after the addition of Dela Cruz and Viray to their young pool of players.
Dela Cruz is coming off a stellar PVL debut campaign with the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers that just disbanded several months ago.
Meanwhile, Viray, a key member of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans that helped them reach the PVL grand finals against the Creamline Cool Smashers, will look to boost their back row attack.
The duo will be playing under the system of head coach Jerry Yee and will also serve as mentors to their debuting teammates.
Still in the lineup for Farm Fresh is UAAP standout Trisha Tubu, a leftie outside attacker who plays the same position as Viray.
With more offensive talent loaded by the Foxies in this year’s PVL conference, coach Yee will have to tweak his starting lineup as well as his reserve unit.
Backstopping Dela Cruz, Viray, and Tubu are Pia Ildefonso, Louie Romero, Alyssa Bertolano, and Kate Santiago.
Aside from Dela Cruz and Viray, Farm Fresh also hauled Elaine Kasilag, Chinnie Arroyo, Jaycel Delos Reyes, Julia Angeles, Anj Legacion, Ypril Tapia, and Janel Delerio.
They replaced Mycah Go, Michelle Gamit, Gayle Pascual, Jessa Dorog, Cloanne Mondoñedo, Zam Nolasco, and Jade Gentapa.
