Ex-Alab Pilipinas gunner Jeremiah Gray will be representing the Philippines in the 2020 The Basketball Tournament.
Gray, who was under the supervision of former head coach Jimmy Alapag during his stint with Alab, will be suiting up for Team Hines in the nationwide tournament held in Columbus, Ohio.
The 6’4’’ high-leaper will have the chance to play alongside ex-NBA greats with an astounding $1,000,000 prize money up for grabs.
“It is a big honor to be a part of this tournament. There are so many players participating that have played at the highest level overseas and also in the NBA, so it is a great honor to even be considered to join this tournament,” said Gray.
Gray will have a familiar face standing beside him, as former Mighty Sports teammate McKenzie Moore will be playing alongside him.
Completing their roster are ex-NBA shooter Marcus Thornton, Nick Calathes, Jerrelle Benimon, Brandon Paul, Eric Griffin, Gilbert Brown, Alec Peters, Ethan Happ, Tyler Hines, Kyle Hines, Mike Martin, and Isaiah Miles.
“My goals for the tournament is just to help my team win as best as I can, and prove that I can play at the highest level as well,” added Gray.
