ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A former jail inmate was nabbed again in a drug buy-bust operation Saturday afternoon at Barangay Nasunugan, Dao, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as Roy Salvador Armonio, 53, of Barangay Balucuan Dao, Capiz.
Recovered from Armonio were 3 sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 marked money, and a cellphone.
Police said Armonio was earlier arrested for the same offense, but he was released after a pre-bargaining agreement with prosecutors.
He is presently detained at Dao police station.
Meanwhile, the three persons who were caught in three separate anti-narcotics operations over the weekend were found positive for drug use.
The three were 19-year-old street food vendor Aleck Clynt Cullamco of Barangay Ibaca in President Roxas, Capiz; 39-year-old tricycle driver Marco Delos Angeles of Barangay Banica, Roxas City; and 30-year-old laborer Rolando Dela Cruz Jr. of Barangay San Nicolas in Pilar, Capuz.
Around P150,000 worth of suspected shabu were recovered from the three suspects.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed on Friday, June 9, against them.
