Gilas Pilipinas women’s team head coach Patrick Aquino confirmed that they are already planning to set up their training bubble this coming July.

Kicking off their preparations is the upcoming 3×3 U-19 Women’s World Cup in August to be held in Hungary.

The team will begin their 3×3 training as soon as coach Aquino completes his scouting and tryout duties in the Unites States.

Coach Aquino, together with the Fil-Am Nation Select group, will conduct a tryout from June 4-5 to determine the possible additions to the Gilas Pilipinas women roster that will compete in the future tournaments.

Coach Aquino has already spent months in the US seeking to fill in the needed spots for the women’s team with the ultimate goal of elevating their current status.

The prized head coach also expressed his idea of maintaining the connection and the bond between the Philippine national team and the Fil-Am community to build a stronger squad.

As of now, coach Aquino already gathered a pool of exciting future superstars while guiding Pinay Jack Animam in the US with her training in East West Private.
