Iloilo MVP taekwondo gym hauls 20 gold medals in Visayas Online tourney

The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) Taekwondo gym continued their unstoppable surge after collecting 20 gold medals in the recently concluded 2020 Visayas Interschool Online Poomsae and Speed Kicking Championships.

Earning their reputation as one of the most dominant taekwondo gyms in Western Visayas, the Pinggol mentored jins put on a spectacular show of skill and discipline after topping both Poomsae and Speed Kicking.

Among those who delivered the gold medal for Iloilo City were Pearl Danielle Rosales, Andria Margaret Palabrica, Maria Beatriz Santos, Sheine Nicole De Asis, Cecil Angeli Rentoy, Adriel Elexus Balberona, Eduardo Adenic III, James Annrhey Pecayco, Ianna Gabriella Rosales, Phil Caleb Regalado, Alicia Sophia Gutierrez, and Shires Pastolero.

Joining them in the gold medal craze were late winners Maria Dorotea Anne Aquino, Niña Pearl Acosta, Adrian Emmanuel Zarandin, and Senddrick Valencia.

Aside from the 20 prestigious gold medals brought home by the Iloilo MVP jins, they also notched 17 silver medals and 12 bronze.

The Visayas Online taekwondo tournament is just one of the many competitions where the widely-renowned Iloilo MVP gym showed their class and dominance amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
