Third time might be the charm.

For the third time, the Iloilo United Royals are home once again and are looking for their first win, this time up against the upgraded and hot Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines squad.

Currently on a two-game losing skid, the United Royals are laser-focused to break the streak and get back on the winning column in front of their beloved Ilonggo fans.

After losing to Pasay and Davao in their previous home games, the team is tasked to stop the four-game winning streak of the rolling Zamboanga squad who received key pieces during the trade deadline.

Stronger and deeper, Zamboanga is looking to fend off Iloilo in their race to the playoffs. Alvin Pasaol and Aaron Black will prove to be a formidable combo for Iloilo but the boys in blue are confident they can get the win this time.

Also, the acquisition of former UP Fighting Maroon team captain Jun Manzo leveled up Zamboanga’s firepower together with trigger-ready Anton Asistio.

With the MPBL Lakan Season coming to its final games before the playoffs, each win will be crucial for as the teams jockey for position.

With all things set today in the University of San Agustin Gym, will the United Royals deliver the first home win in front of their devoted Ilonggo fans?
