Fresh from his jail stint, a 37-year-old man was nabbed anew in a police anti-narcotics operation late evening of June 21, 2021 in Cabatuan, Iloilo.

Jessie Condino, 38, of Barangay Ayong, Cabatuan, was arrested in a roadside drug trade at Leong village around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Members of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU) and Cabatuan Police Station nabbed the suspect after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer.

When frisked, Condino yielded four more sachets of suspected shabu.

Captain Myles Dieron, Cabatuan police chief, said Condino had been placed under surveillance following reports that he was again involved in the illegal drug trade after going out of jail in March 2021.

The suspect availed of the plea-bargaining agreement after he was jailed for selling illegal drugs.

Condino, who used to drive a passenger tricycle, was first arrested in a buy-bust operation on Feb. 5, 2020 in Cabatuan, Iloilo.

Back then, he was considered a newly-identified drug personality.

The suspect is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165

(Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
