The James De Los Santos era in the world of virtual kata has begun.

After totaling his E-Series gold medals to 13, the prized Filipino karateka nabbed another two and continued his hot streak following his domination in the 1st Euro Grand Prix E-tournament and the e-Karate Games.

De Los Santos came out victorious after facing Silvio Cerone-Biagioni of South Africa in the Euro Grand Prix finals.

The Filipino karateka needed to flaunt all the tricks up his sleeves after managing to edge the pride of South Africa by just a deficit of .3 in the total score, 24.6-24.3.

Before squaring off with Biagioni, De Los Santos had to go through Kevin Petry and Matias Moreno Domont in the elimination round and the semifinals.

In the e-Karate Games, De Los Santos was able to handle Brazil kata star Alves Murillo in a thrilling contest in the finals, 24.3-23.

The point-boosting wins in the e-Karate and Euro Grand Prix, puts De Los Santos on the brink of capturing the world no. 1 spot from Eduardo Garcia of Portugal.
