Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado pulled off an upset win against the explosive Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang during ONE X: Part 1 held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It was one of the most anticlimactic endings in ONE flyweight history as Miado was able to clinch the second-round TKO victory due to Adiwang’s non-contact knee injury.

During the 2:05 mark of the second round, Adiwang felt a pop in his right knee as he was backpedaling from the surging Miado.

Adiwang then raised both of his hands out of concern while the main fight referee waived the fight off that resulted in Miado’s victory.

Despite the unexpected ending, both fighters were bound for an explosive finish as they gave the fans a treat in an action-packed first round.

Adiwang immediately established his striking dominance and punished Miado with a series of three-punch combinations that put him ahead of the initial scorecards.

However, Miado retaliated with his efficient ground game after catching a well-anticipated kick thrown by Adiwang that led to Jaguar’s heavy body slam.

Miado continued to control the ground game but Adiwang fought back and scored with the same body slam move to return the favor in the closing seconds of the first round.

Adiwang’s knee injury however halted the chance of a deciding third-round and improved Miado’s ONE record to 11 wins and four losses.

On the other hand, Adiwang suffered his second-straight loss since facing the tough Jarred Brooks who took him down via submission.
