After spilling the tea, it was Eric “Ka Eric” Almendras who turned out to be at the receiving end of accusations.

In a Facebook post, Lean Porquia, son of slain activist Jory Porquia, intimated that it is possible that Almendras is also Jeffrey Celis of Iloilo.

“He could be behind the killing of Tatay, Jory Porquia, this year,” he said.

Jose Reynaldo Porquia, or more known as Jory Porquia who was a Bayan Muna-Iloilo City coordinator, instantly died from nine gunshot wounds on his body following an early morning gun attack on April 30, 2020.

Jory was at his coffee shop in Barangay Sto. Niño Norte around 5 am when four men arrived and shot him.

Until now, police have yet to resolve the case.

On top of Porquia’s killing, Lean said they have reason to believe that Jeffrey Celis, who is being tagged in the Ka Eric testimony, “was behind the abduction of Tita Luing Posa Dominado and former BAYAN Chair Nilo Arado in 2007; and killing of Lezo, Aklan SB member and Bayan Muna coordinator Fernando Baldomero.”

Lean, in his post, noted that Celis is the person that Duterte accused as a drug protector in 2016, the same list where (drug lords) Richard Prevendido and Melvin Odicta belong.

“He was never from UP. He was never a SAMASA member, I was the Secretary General in 2006. He was never a Regional Coordinator of LFS. I should know, I was the LFS regional chair. He was never in our roll call in both organizations,” he said.

Lean also debunked the existence of a national negotiating team during the Erap Resign Movement.

“The entire time Ella Colmenares was active in Kabataan Partylist (2004-2007), Jeffrey Celis was M.I.A. There’s no way he could be involved in this so-called ‘National Operations Command’. He re-surfaced in 2008, desperate to pay off debts, ended up selling his soul to local politicians as a media attack dog,” he said.

In conclusion, Lean said the military could have gotten a more credible person with integrity as a resource person.

“Someone na may prominence at pinaniniwalaan ng mga tao. Hindi yung inakusahang drug protektor. Kadiri,” he said.
