Kalei Mau will be on a busy schedule after winning the first-ever Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Women’s Champions League trophy with the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.
The superstar outside spiker will be taking her talents to United States’ first professional volleyball league, the Athletes Unlimited.
Mau confirmed her latest decision moments after they raised the championship trophy during the PNVF Champions League grand finals when they swept Cherry Tiggo in just three sets.
“I’ll be playing in the US Pro League, Athletes Unlimited this coming March. A lot of pride behind me and our whole country and my island so really excited to do that,” said Mau.
Mau vowed to represent the Philippines wherever she plays and proof of that was during her import stint for the Changos de Naranjito in Puerto Rico last year.
“Like I said, I have a lot to represent and play as a Filipino for the first time, well second time I played in Puerto Rico as a Filipino player. It’s a huge thing to play for,” she added.
Despite her jam-packed import stints, F2’s offensive star confirmed that she will be back with her teammates as she remains committed with the team.
If the Cargo Movers choose to join in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), then Mau will fly back to the Philippines in the last week of January next year.
