Beginning January 10, a new tale of family, success, and perseverance is set to bring love and inspiration to Kapuso viewers with the launch of the much-awaited series “Little Princess” on GMA Afternoon Prime.
Multitalented actress Jo Berry leads the star-studded cast as Princess Montivano, a little person who has big dreams despite growing up poor. As she finds out she is an heiress, how can she adjust to her new life if people are out to challenge her claim in the company?
Joining Jo in the series are highly-talented actors Rodjun Cruz as Jaxon Pineda, Princess’ best friend; and Juancho Trivino as Damien Santiago, Princess’ secret crush.
Rodjun, who is grateful to GMA for his first leading man role, believes the project is God’s answer to his prayers, “Pinagdasal ko rin talaga ‘to kay Lord. So thankful talaga ako kay Lord kasi ang tagal kong pinagdasal ‘to.
Juancho, on the other hand, praised his co-star Jo for being a generous actress during their takes, “Palagi niyang inuuna ‘yung needs ng iba bago ‘yung sa kanya. It’s very refreshing. It’s something I’ve never done before, so I’m so proud to be part of this show.”
Playing equally vital roles in the series are seasoned and accomplished actors Angelika Dela Cruz as Elise Reyes, Princess’ mother; Jestoni Alarcon as Marcus Montivano, Princess’ biological father; Geneva Cruz as Odessa Montivano, Marcus’ wife.
Completing the stellar cast of “Little Princess” are Jenine Desiderio as Sunshine Pineda, Jaxon’s social climber mother; Tess Antonio as Winona, Elise’s confidante; Therese Malvar as Masoy, Princess’ dependable cousin; Chuckie Dreyfus as Fermin Garcia, Marcus’ friend who will help him find Princess and Elise; Lander Vera-Perez as Donald Santiago, Damien’s strict and manipulative father; Gabrielle Hahn as Adrianna Ilustre, Marcus and Odessa’s niece; Kaloy Tingcungco as Caloy, Damien’s teammate who will fall in love with Masoy; Marx Topacio as Aaron, Odessa’s lover.
The series is under the supervision of the GMA Entertainment Group Production Heads – SVP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, FVP for Drama Redgie A. Magno, SAVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Program Manager Dennis Joi K. Bentulan, and Executive Producer Arlene D. Pilapil.
