Former superstar middle blocker of the Adamson University Lady Falcons Lorene Toring is ready to take her talent to the professional scene after signing with the Farm Fresh Foxies in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

The development was confirmed last February 15, 2024, a week after Toring injured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Toring was supposed to lead the Lady Falcons in the upcoming UAAP women’s volleyball tournament but her plans vanished after she suffered a torn ACL.

Currently, Toring is undergoing her much-needed rehabilitation and will be ready to suit up for Farm Fresh once she completes her sessions.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the news that an ACL injury has sidelined me for the foreseeable future,” wrote Toring in her post.

The do-it-all middle blocker quickly turned heads since entering the lair of the Lady Falcons after providing valuable minutes for Adamson.

Each season, her stats went up including her blocks per game, which became her bread and butter in her four years in the UAAP.

Perhaps Toring’s greatest achievement during her active playing days was helping the Lady Falcons enter the UAAP Final Four after nine years of drought.

Despite failing to advance in the grand finals of the women’s volleyball tournament, Toring made her mark as Adamson’s most reliable two-way player.

Toring will now be teaming up with her former foes in the UAAP after Farm Fresh loaded its roster with the addition of Jolina Dela Cruz and Cailyn Viray.

Dela Cruz, who helped the De La Salle University clinch last season’s UAAP women’s volleyball championship title, shared several on-court battles with Toring during the course of their collegiate career.
