The Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI) lined up both men and women national volleyball squads in numerous upcoming international tournaments this 2020.

Aiming to lift the national team’s performance from the recent 30th Southeast Asian Games, the LVPI management is aiming to start as early as possible to reach their goal of a whole year program.

Fresh off their impressive run in the SEAG, the men’s national squad will fly to Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand for the Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship from April 18 to 25.

From August 22 to 29, they will see action in the Asian Men’s Volleyball Cup at Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.

The busy schedule ahead is a part of the team’s preparations for the bigger tournaments scheduled late this 2020.

Meanwhile, the women’s national team will try to rebound from their podium-less finish last SEAG. The Alyssa Valdez led squad will compete in the Asian Women’s Club Championship in Tianjin, China from May 2 to 9.

After a two-month rest, the national women’s squad will be back in action in Hong Kong from August 24 to 30 in the AVC Women’s Cup.

This January 15, the LVPI will have their final technical meeting to finalize the schedule set to be sent to the players.
