BACOLOD City – Glady Reyes of www.experiencenegros.com took the top prize of P10,000 for her blog post “MassKara Festival 2019: Ultimate Guide for First-Timers” in the ‘Kari sa Bacolod, Dala sang Maskara!’ netizens’ contest.
Reyes wrote about the schedule, tips, ideas, and recommendations for the festival.
Edgar Paul Platon won best Facebook post.
In his post, he discussed how the Bacolod Government Center has served the people of Bacolod and how it has become an icon of the city.
@geplilo won best Instagram post with his photo of a dancer holding a mask.
“The photo showed the human behind the scenes side of the festival,” Streetdance Committee Chairman Rudy Reveche, who was one of the judges, said.
And @iamSairyl07’s post: “Despite all the challenges I’ve been through and will be going through this year, I kind of embraced the idea that after all, I am living in the City of Smiles! What better way to be optimistic than to smile and brush the negativity off?” won best Twitter post.
Best Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts also won P5,000 each.
The board of judges was composed of Ruby MassKara Festival Director Eli Tajanlangit, Reveche, and Festival Site Director Councilor Israel Salanga.
