Negrense shooting guard Jeff Manday is ready to prove he is worth the contract after making it into the 3×3 roster of the San Miguel Beermen.

The Bacolod native superstar was picked during the recent 2021 PBA Rookie draft by the SMC corporation and immediately turned heads after earning a spot in the 3×3 pool despite being a rookie.

Manday was the main gunner of the Colegio de Santa Ana de Victorias in Negros Occidental and was highly regarded as one of the finest players in the Visayas.

Aside from numerous tournament stints, Manday also helped Santa Ana grab several championships including the prestigious 2019 UNIGAMES title held in Iloilo City.

Manday and his crew faced a tough Enderun College in Manila who were also the heavily-favored team to win the matchup.

The predictions seemed right at the start of the game as Enderun immediately jumped to a 16-2 lead but the superb performance of Manday helped them get back into the ball game and eventually the win.

Manday also participated in some of Iloilo City’s huge leagues including the championship roster of DPWH during the 2019 Dinagyang Cup.

The PBA 3×3 league will kick off today and Manday will be teaming up with former UST star Louie Vigil, La Salle’s James Mangahas, and former national team 3×3 member Bacon Austria.
