Another member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1990 will take over the helm of the Western Visayas police force.
Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo, chief of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG), will succeed his mistah, Brigadier General Rolando Miranda, as director of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6.
The turnover of command ceremony will be held today, Nov 10, at the PRO-6 headquarters in Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City.
After the turnover rites, a program for Miranda’s retirement will follow.
Dongbo is no newbie in Western Visayas. He used to be director of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), which was at that time under the defunct Negros Island region.
On Monday, Miranda said he had no idea who will take over his post citing that the PNP national headquarters has yet to issue an official order.
He claimed he did not recommend anyone to succeed him.
