BACOLOD City – Two women were arrested while 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Villamonte here last Monday.
The subject was identified as Sheeja Dela Fuente, 31, while her alleged cohort was Nora Alvaran, 52, both residents of Barangay Banago here.
Police Captain Greeky Cayao, head of Police Station 4, said they received a report regarding the alleged involvement of Dela Fuente in illegal drugs, prompting them to conduct the operation.
Cayao said that Dela Fuente is a “street-level individual.”
Also confiscated from them was P11,500 in fake money used in the sting operation.
Charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs will be filed against them.
Meanwhile, Cayao said that drug charges were also filed against a 20-year-old man who allegedly yielded eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400 in Barangay Villamonte on April 28.
