ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Some P500,000 worth of properties were lost to a fire that gobbled a house at Sitio Bakahan in Barangay Agcabugao, Cuartero, Capiz on Friday.
No one got hurt when the fire razed the house of Cerelyn Flores Carias.
Cuartero Municipal Fire Station reported that the fire erupted around 3:30 am.
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel from Dao, Dumarao, and Cuartero; Cuartero Emergency Response Unit and barangay officials helped quell the fire in the said village, fire out was declared around 4:40 am.
The fire is believed to have originated in the kitchen.
