BACOLOD City – Personnel of Police Station 1 are probing the alleged robbery of a tricycle at Barangay 9 here last Monday.

Police Major Ramel Sarona, head of Police Station 1, said Roland Dela Fere reported to them that his two passengers – a male and a female – allegedly carnapped his driven tricycle at Burgos-Locsin Streets around 9 p.m.

According to Dela Fere, one of the passengers requested him to buy something at a nearby pharmacy.

But when Dela Fere returned, the tricycle and his passengers were already missing.

Sarona said that there were missing details on Dela Fere’s statements, but they have already coordinated with the owner of the tricycle, as the complainant is just renting the vehicle.

“Wala man siya kabalo kung diin nagsakay ang pasahero niya or kung diin niya dapat idul-ong, kulang iya detalye,” the station commander added.

Sarona assured that the police will continue to investigate it, although he claimed it to be allegations for now.

Sarona said there was no closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera in the area where the alleged robbery happened.
