PBA commissioner Willie Marcial reiterated a rule in the PBA draft that most league aspirants ignore or lack knowledge of.

Marcial emphasized a rule during the PBA draft which states that players who are eligible for the PBA draft can’t pass on the draft for two years, or else, they will face banning or suspensions.

Three players eligible for this year’s PBA draft have decided to skip and focus on other basketball related activities.

Santi Santillan and Alvin Pasaol both decided to focus on 3×3 basketball this year as they try to qualify for the Olympics and banner the country.

Meanwhile, Thirdy Ravena, who was projected as the number 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft, decided to go overseas and play either in Japan or Australia.

All three should apply for the next draft or else they will face the consequences in either a possible ban or suspension from joining the draft.
