The Columbian Dyip franchise, led by superstar CJ Perez, will be transferring ownership to Terra Firma Realty Development Corporation.
The PBA board approved the team’s ownership transfer during their first face-to-face meeting since suspending basketball operations last March.
If ever the PBA season does resume this year, expect Perez and his squad to no longer wear the usual green and white of Columbian Dyip.
“This afternoon, I submitted a letter request on behalf of Columbian Autocar Corporation which owns the PBA franchise. The request is to transfer the franchise to its sister company, Terra Firma Realty Development Corporation,” said Dyip Governor and PBA vice-chairman Bobby Rosales.
Meanwhile, PBA board chairman Ricky Vargas, said that the Dyip management had completed all the needed documents for a transfer of ownership and just needs two more to have the final signing of the board.
