Two hundred fifty-eight (258) residents of Barangay Tady, Sara Iloilo received dental services, vaccination, free haircut and circumcision during a Medical and Dental Mission held at Erenio Sr Memorial Elementary School on Dec 16, 2022.
According to Police Brigadier General Leo M Francisco, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 director, 123 residents availed the free medical check-up, 48 availed of the free dental services, 38 were vaccinated, 19 children were circumcised and 30 got haircuts.
“Kami po ay natutuwa na nakapagbigay po tayo ng tulong at libreng serbisyo sa ating kapwa tao ngayong pasko,” Gen. Francisco said.
The activity was in coordination and collaboration with the Municipality of Sara, Iloilo headed by their Mayor Jon N. Aying and the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 6 (RMDU6) headed by Police Colonel Jaime E Gonzales.
“Ang ganitong aktibidad ay patunay lamang na ang ating kapulisan kasama na ang lokal na pamahalaan ay nagtutulungan para matugunan ang pangangailangang medical ng ating kabababayan,” Gen Francisco added.
Also present during the activity were Colonel Nilo A Aliño, Iloilo Police Provincial Office director; personnel of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) and personnel of Sara Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, the PRO-6 Officers Ladies Club also conducted an Outreach Program at Buruanga Covered Court in Poblacion, Buruanga, Aklan on Dec 9, 2022 which benefited more than 150 4Ps members.
