The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Iloilo will begin the Labor Force Survey with a rider survey on Account Ownership and Digital Finance, today, May 8, 2023.
The survey aims to determine if the respondent or any member of the household owns a financial account, and owns an electronic device and uses it for digital financial transactions.
PSA Iloilo hired 4 Statistical Researchers who were trained last May 5, 2023 to enumerate a total of 196 samples from selected barangays in the municipalities of Lambunao, Banate, Passi City, New Lucena, Tigbauan, Oton, and Iloilo City.
They will begin the conduct of the survey today until May 27, 2023.
OIC-Provincial Statistical Officer Jerry Dolutan requested the cooperation of sample households as well as the assistance of the local government units in both municipal and barangay levels.
The Labor Force Survey (LFS) is a nationwide survey of households conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) which aims to provide a quantitative framework for the preparation of plans and formulation of policies affecting the labor market.
