BACOLOD City – The Philippine Statistics Authority-Negros Occidental is in need of more than 3,000 enumerators, team supervisors, and census area supervisors for the 2020 Census of Population of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Negros Occidental.
A report from the Philippine Information Agency said that for Bacolod City, PSA needs 515 enumerators, 103 team supervisors and 21 Census Area Supervisors; while for the whole province, 2,170 enumerators, 436 team supervisors and 93 Census Area Supervisors are needed.
PSA is looking for college graduates or those having completed at least second year college, with experience and training in census/survey undertakings of the PSA with good moral character and physically fit for field work with the ability to deal with the public tactfully, the PIA report said.
Applicants must be able to speak the local dialect, with legible handwriting and willing to be assigned to any barangay or municipality and must be ready to work on Saturdays or Sundays and holidays and beyond 5:00pm, if necessary; With no existing work contract with other offices/agencies.
Those who are qualified and interested must send an application letter addressed to Mr. Luis O. Gonzales, Chief Statistical Specialist, Philippine Statistics Authority-Negros Occidental, East II Corporate Center, Cor. Circumferential Road-Diola Street, Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Application letter must include, resume with ID picture, and a copy of Transcript of Records (TOR/Diploma/Certificate of Highest Grade Completed/Year Completed).
The deadline of submission is not later than June 15, 2020 and requirements must be submitted to the PSA Negros Occidental Provincial Office or at your respective Local Civil Registrar.
The conduct of the 2020 Census of Population is set on August 10 to September 30, 2020.
