The PLDT High-Speed Hitters just added more youth to their veteran-laden roster after signing former Far Eastern University (FEU) team captain Shiela Kiseo in the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) conference confirmed last January 20, 2024.

It was the PLDT management who confirmed the addition of the young outside hitter during a graphic social media post updated on their official handles.

A vital piece to the Lady Tamaraws’ UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball campaign, Kiseo will be looking to boost PLDT’s explosive offense and value the learnings she will absorb from her veterans.

Kiseo had a decent outing during the UAAP Season 85 tournament after helping the Lady Tamaraws finish with a 6-8 win-loss record.

Despite clinching fifth place while missing a spot to qualify in the Final Four, Kiseo left an impact on the team as their locker room and on-floor communicator.

“Infusing a veteran-laden team with young blood starts now. From green and gold to fiery red, outside hitter Shiela Kiseo is pumped up to play with the PLDT High-Speed Hitters and prove she belongs. Ready to play all-around volleyball with you, Shiela! Let’s go,” wrote PLDT.

Kiseo will be teaming up with one of the most explosive outside hitters in the PVL, Kim Kianna Dy, who is also the team’s newest addition following the disbandment of her mother franchise F2 Logistics.

She will also have the chance to work side-by-side with Savannah Davison, PLDT’s latest pick-up last conference.

Aside from Dy and Davison, Kiseo will also seek to gain more knowledge from veteran setter Kim Fajardo and seasoned middle blocker Mika Reyes.
