University of the Philippines’ Ricci Rivero and his family were back in their hometown in Isabela since the enhanced community quarantine was imposed.

Planning to give back to his fellow kababayans amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Riveros are consistently lending help to the people of Isabela in their own way.

For a month already, Ricci, his brothers Prince and Rasheed, father and Nazareth School of National University assistant coach Paolo, and friend John Vic De Guzman have been roaming around the province to distribute relief packs to frontliners including policemen, barangay officials, and the medical team around.

“It’s been a while since I stayed in Isabela this long since I came to Manila, kaya I wanted to maximize the chance to give back and support my kababayans here who need help kahit sa simpleng paraan,” said Ricci.

Last April 7, the Riveros sent relief packages to Iligan’s frontliners and on April 23, handed out respiratory care and hygiene essentials to the medical staff of Dr. Villaroman Hospital and Isabela Doctors Hospital.
