The San Miguel Beermen are back in dominant form after asserting their mastery over the Blackwater Bossing squad, 99-80, and continued their winning streak to three in the PBA’s 46th season.

June Mar Fajardo showed flashes of his pre-injury self as the six-time PBA MVP scored in the paint at will with 16 points on six of eight shooting from the field.

The Beermen went back to their old ways Wednesday when they ran familiar plays for Fajardo and just let him do the work underneath.

However, Blackwater surged their way to a huge second quarter as the resilient team outscored San Miguel, 27-19 and kept themselves within striking distance courtesy of a hot Simon Enciso.

Blackwater only trailed by one point entering the second half, 38-39, but could only watch their defense get embarrassed by a San Miguel squad who went berserk.

The Beermen had their best quarter of the game in the third as they torched Blackwater with their 30-point output.

Head coach Leo Austria and his boys stepped on the gas pedal and didn’t look back as six of his players chipped in double-digit points to balloon the lead to as much as 23.

Von Pessumal and Paul Zamar came off the bench hot and took charge during one of San Miguel’s scoring sprees in the last quarter as both scorers contributed 10 and 11, respectively.
