Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested the subject Edmond Pahila, 57, and his nephew Paolo Montebon, 31, both residents of the said village.
Captain Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said the suspects were subjected to a three-week monitoring after they received reports from the community about their alleged illegal activity.
“May reports na from the community kay daw kadamo na gid gasinulod nga indi makilal-an,” he said.
Mogato said that Montebon was Pahila’s alleged runner, as he was the one who allegedly transacts with their customers.

Also recovered from them were the P1,000 marked money, and P300.
Mogato said that Pahila will be charged for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, while Montebon will be facing illegal possession of dangerous drugs and conspiracy.
