A woman had her husband arrested after going unruly Saturday morning in New Lucena, Iloilo.
John Baron, 27, was drunk when he allegedly cut the electric wires to their house in Barangay Jelicuon Oeste and later chopped off the utility pole of the Iloilo Electric Company II (ILECO-2).
Baron wanted to turn on their mini-sound system at around 5 am Saturday but his wife Bea Joy vehemently turned down the idea claiming that the sound would awaken their children.
But this did not sit well with the suspect which led to an argument.
At the height of their verbal tussle, the suspect took out a cane knife, or locally known as espading, and cut off their electrical line.
He then went outside and began chopping the electric pole.
Bea Joy informed village officials about what happened, and police were later called on to arrest the suspect.
Baron is now detained at New Lucena Police Station.
