The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 held the oath-taking of 20 newly appointed patrolwomen on Oct 12, 2022 at Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B. Delgado in Iloilo City.
Police Brigadier General Leo M Francisco, PRO-6 director, administered their oath of office.
“Kahit 20 lang kayo, you are all well on your way to making a big difference in the organization, especially in PRO-6,” Francisco said to the recruits.
Over 500 applicants processed their application online but only 180 hurdled all the stages of screening.
Out of 180, 10 were distributed to the Health Service and 10 to Police Community Affairs Division Group (PCADG). While among the remaining 160, only 80 applicants were endorsed to proceed to the final Interview.
Of the 80 endorsed applicants, 60 males are awaiting their oath-taking, and the 20 females who took oath partly filled up the 100 Attrition Quota for the Calendar Year 2022 of PRO6.
Their filing of application started last April 2022 and went through the following stages: Body Mass Index, Physical Fitness Test, Neuro-Psychiatric Examination and Interview, Complete Background Investigation, Medical and General Physical Examination and the final Panel Interview.
This is to ensure that they are all mentally and physically fit and ready for the six months of rigorous training at the Regional Training Center 6 located in Bakyas, Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
“Patunayan nyo na karapatdapat kayo sa katungkulang pinagkaluob sa inyo. Enjoy the training, learn as much as you can to become the best police officer that you can be. Remember, life is indeed beautiful, congratulations and good luck in your public service journey,” Francisco said.
