354 trainees of PRO-6 complete their police basic course

The Regional Training Center 6 (RTC 6) at Bakyas, Mansilingan, Bacolod City help the Closing Ceremony of Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) on April 20, 2021.

The 354 police graduates of PSBRC Class 2020-03, MASIDHI include 290 males and 64 females.

Their Basic Recruit Course started on September 17, 2020 up to the day of their graduation.

The program was graced by Attorney Leon Guanzon Moya, donor of the 10-hectare prime land for RTC-6 located at Barangay Tabunan, Bago City, as the guest of honor and speaker.

The activity is the manifestation of the hardship and sacrifices endured by the police trainees in their 6-month stay at the training center.

The PSBRC is a 24-week intensive and progressive training designed for newly-appointed police non-commissioned officers to provide them with the basic knowledge and skills in police science, administration, combat operation and tactics.

In this Course newbies are also indoctrinated with the norms and conduct required in the performance of their jobs as guardians of peace and protectors of lives and properties.

Immediately after the graduation, the police trainees were turned-over to Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division 6 to undergo another 6-month of Field Training Program. All are requirements for permanency in the police service.
