40 student-mentees join YEP:iSEA

The Pitch is on

40 Students Mentees from 11 universities in Western Visayas joined the Youth Entrepreneurship Program: In-School Entrepreneurship Academy (YEP:iSEA)  2021.

After two months of hard work and perseverance to finish the weekly modules through mentoring and coaching sessions, it’s now pitching day for the 20 students.

The first batch of students already presented their Business Proposal Pitch last September 21, 2021.

The following were the participating schools:

  2. Central Philippine University
  3. Western Visayas State University
  4. University of the Philippines – Visayas
  5. University of Saint La Salle
  6. University of Antique
  7. Guimaras State University
  8. Capiz State University
  9. College of Saint John
  10. Aklan State University
  11. Garcia College of Technology

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-6 aims to increase the number of MSMEs in Western Visayas coming from the increasing young population who covers the most number of digital entrepreneurship during this time of pandemic.

This program will give Start-up kits to help the Top 5 winners develop their business ideas into minimum viable products/services.

More trainings and consultancy sessions are in store for the YEP:ISEA Yeppies (Mentees)
