Adrianized Brides

June has always been the month of weddings but as the rainy season comes to a close, a new trend is beginning to shift the time-table for brides and grooms. Recently, I have been blessed to receive more clients who have decided to tie the knot on the most awaited “ber-months.” Most of them are my colleagues from abroad who are going home to the Philippines for the holidays and to have their wedding here as well.

For me, it has always been exciting and it gives me pure joy to transform my client’s dream gowns into reality. Being sensitive about their preferences is really important. It gives me complete satisfaction when I see my beautiful brides glowing while walking down the aisle.

As I take a look at my bridal designs, its creation would not have been possible without the contribution of the brides themselves. I begin the process by listening to what the bride desires to wear as it is crucial to hear what the client wants. And from there, I would make revisions based on their measurements, share suggestions, and add my own personal touch to the design. It is essential that both the client and the designer meet halfway in the formulation of the gown.

I think one of the ingredients for a beautiful bridal gown is the perfect fit. Focusing on it will make all the hard work and planning become visible. Up to the present, my creations are leaning on tulle dress embellished with lace appliques, beadworks of pearl and a threadwork of silver flourishes. And at the end of every project, I am left with a happy heart filled with joy and a memory of a wonderful experience of working with a client in the realization of a one-of-a-kind creation.
