Capiz PNP cites media partners

THE Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) cited various local media outlets for their support to the peace and order campaign during the culminating activity of the 24th Police Community Relations Month celebration on July 29, 2019 at Camp Teodorico C. Apil in Brgy. Lanot in Roxas City.

The citations were given to five radio stations and a weekly paper.

Police beat reporters Jiego Cabanus and Rey Casumpang of RMN DYVR; Saturnino De Justo and Roberto Gonzales of DYJJ; Roldan Villareal, Rolando Abeto, Alex Dela Cruz, Ronnie Bulacan and Joshua Kenneth Anas of DYOW Bombo Roxas; India Lavapiez, Geonila Acunin and Mary Evangelyn Duronio of Baskog Radyo; Vergel Obienda of Radyo Todo Capiz were also recipients of Certificate of Recognition for their support to the CPPO.

The same citation was also given to Philippine Information Agency-Capiz Government Information Center manager Jemin B. Guillermo and PIA staff Alex Lumaque.

Capiz police director Police Col. Canilo A. Fuentes thanked various stakeholders, especially the local media, for helping Capiz PNP in providing information about the PCR Month celebration which led to the successful implementation of all PCR programs, projects and activities in the province.

“I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the various stakeholders here in Capiz for their support, specifically the translation into actions this year’s PCR theme ‘Sambayanan Mahalagang Kaakibat ng Kapulisan sa Pagtaguyod ng Mapayapa at Maunlad na Bayan’,” Col. Fuentes noted.

The culminating activity was also in time with the awarding of winners of the CPPO’s 1st Skills Olympics 2019. (PIA)
