My friends got into relationships at a young age. Not that I’m pessimistic, but I don’t get it. At that age, I think one should improve himself first. My goal is to be the best version of myself. And if someone is already destined for me, why waste time with the wrong one? As a youth, we get to know where we’re good at, and we explore the opportunities we have. These opportunities don’t always come, so we need to be at the right place in the right time so we can grab them as they come.
I’m taking up engineering, and I can’t wait. Yet, I feel reluctant. It’ll be my first time away from my mom, but I need to show her that I’m a tough girl. I’m going to study hard and spend my free time in leadership trainings so I can give back to my community in the best way I can. Once our youth is gone, we can never have it again. I always cherish every second of it.
