The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers were just too much to handle for the Gerflor Defenders after sweeping them in three sets, 25-10, 25-16, 25-14, in the ongoing Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference last November 9, 2023.

With the win, the Cargo Movers just bagged its first winning streak of the PVL season after earning their second straight victory of the week.

Ara Galang continued to turn back the hands of time after delivering a solid performance for F2 Logistics, scoring 11 points built from 10 successful attacks, and three blocks.

What was the most impressive about Galang’s outing was her contribution in the floor defense department, tallying a total of 11 excellent digs and three excellent receptions.

The Cargo Movers immediately buckled to work in the opening set and pummeled the Gerflor middle blockers with their signature 1-2 offensive sets and backline conversions.

Aside from their attacks, the Cargo Movers also doubled their effort on the defensive end and limited the Defenders to just 40 points in three sets.

Gerflor’s highest scoring period was during the second set but despite them finding their stroke, the more experienced F2 Logistics team still emerged victorious to take a 2-0 lead.

Team captain Aby Marano also came up big for the Cargo Movers and chipped in 10 points built from six successful attacks and two blocks.

Meanwhile, Ivy Lacsina, who was struggling during their past games with her scoring, delivered 10 points built from 10 successful attacks.

“Syempre, it’s a good boost for the team para sa next game with the defending champions but sinabi ko nga sa kanila na this is a good preparation para sa next game and we cannot be complacent,” said F2 Logistics head coach Regine Diego.
