BACOLOD CITY – The Negros Press Club (NPC) Inc. has received a P500,000 donation from the Dr. Manuel S. Lo Foundation, delivered by Ian Manuel T. Lo, president of Negros Grace Pharmacy, at a ceremony in the NPC building on April 19, 2024.

This financial support honors a pledge Lo made at the 88th induction of officers and oath-taking of new NPC members at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod on April 6.

NPC President Erwin “Ambo” Delilan received the check alongside fellow club officers. The funds will support a range of programs and projects benefiting both regular and associate members of the Philippines’ oldest press club.

Additionally, Lo, with his brother Jonathan Lo of Merzci Pasalubong, presented P2,000 in gift certificates to each of the 160 regular and associate members. This gesture began at the Media Night on April 20 during the 29th Pana-ad Festival at Pana-ad Park and Stadium.

“We say thank you to Mr. Ian Lo for the cash donation and the gift certificates. We express our heartfelt thanks for his kindness and generosity to the NPC,” Delilan said.

In recognition, Delilan presented a certificate of appreciation to Lo for his substantial support and partnership with the NPC.
