The Rotary Club of Bacolod embarked on a momentous journey as they warmly welcomed District 3850 Governor Ma. Ester L. Espina, an inspiration in the realm of community service.
On the beautiful venue of Natalia Hall 2, O’ Hotel, on a wonderful evening of October 05, 2023, the stage was set for a memorable encounter that would shape the direction of Rotary Club of Bacolod noble mission in serving humanity.
A distinguished assembly gathered during the Governor’s Visit, a gathering that included the esteemed Past District Governor Edgar Sy, Club Officers and Directors led by Creating Hope President Michelle Medrano, Club Secretary & Past President Frederick Anthony de Leon, President Elect & VP Marjorie Dino & Husband Engr. Charles, Past President & Director for Service Projects Pauline Cuaycong, Treasurer Mae Eras, Past President & City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Immediate Past President Franklin Andre Familiaran and Rtn. Spouse Tanya, Past President Jose Glenn de Guzman, Past President Jonathan Avelino and Spouse Dr. Bambi, Director for Youth Service and City Councilor Israel Salanga, Assistant Club Secretary Emily Cuaycong, Assistant Director for Service Project Rudyla Fabelena, its dedicated passionate members led by Rotarians Lanie Buan, Enzo Tulliani and Spouse Joy, Emilou Ongsoco, Reynaldo Alayon, Angelica Inventor, Club Moderators headed by Mr. Bong Lacanilao of the Rotaract Club of Bacolod-Colegio San Agustin Chapter and Mr. Kizzer Alejandro of the Interact Club of Bacolod HFHS and the Club Secretariat.
President Michelle presented the tapestry of the Club’s achievements and projects and the line-up of pipeline projects. The discussion wasn’t just about projects; it was about crafting a brighter tomorrow and creating hope in the communities that Rotary Club of Bacolod serves.
The Governor’s Visit highlighted the induction of the Club’s newest members with different background who expressed interest to give back to the community:

Also inducted are officers of the Rotaract Club of Bacolod-Colegio San Agustin Nursing Program led by President Natasha Marie Cuales, VP Noelah Baldago, Secretary Denielle Marie Diaz, Treasurer Peter Paul Zurita, Assistant Treasurer Sandra Salgado, the BOD composed of Kristine Jay Magado, Kyliegh Chua, Jessie James Perez, Amera Madamisela, Claire Ann Diolasco. For the Interact Club of Bacolod Holy Family High School are President Stacey Caryl Rosadino, VP Jedda Marie Sinsay, Secretary Zhyra Ann Salcedo, Treasurer Rhian Juele, Nhuriel Paradero, Chealsea Puro and Ashley Nicole Guanzon of the BOD.
The longevity of the Rotary Club of Bacolod is assured with its vision and mission that are pursued and carried out through the years, a continuity in its programs and activities, as community builders and as people of action.
