Gucci has officially expanded its footprint in the Philippines with the opening of its first boutique in Cebu City at The Mall in Nustar Resort and Casino.
This marks the luxury brand’s fourth store in the country and the first outside of Metro Manila, covering an expansive 248 square meters.
The boutique offers a wide range of Gucci’s signature collections, including Ready-to-Wear, Handbags, Luggage, Shoes, Silks, Eyewear, Jewelry, and Fragrances, catering to both men and women.
The store’s design reflects Gucci’s commitment to combining modern luxury with traditional craftsmanship.
The interiors are deliberately minimalist to ensure the focus remains on the collections. The boutique features optical marble flooring reminiscent of historic Italian architecture, offset by striking acid green and yellow carpets that demarcate different sections of the store.
Brushed steel countertops and high-end furniture pieces from renowned Italian designers B&B, Cassina, and Minotti contribute to the sophisticated ambiance, aligning with the contemporary aesthetic introduced by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno.
Visitors to the boutique are invited to embark on a curated visual journey. Upon entry, customers encounter the Gucci Valigeria collection, which showcases heritage-inspired travel accessories such as trolleys and duffle bags.
A standout feature of the store is the back-lit white alabaster wall that highlights the Horsebit 1955 handbag collection, including an exclusive mini shoulder bag available only at the Gucci Nustar location.
The boutique also features an impressive display of the latest footwear collection on two distinct walls, offering a comprehensive selection for discerning shoppers.
In line with Gucci’s global sustainability initiatives, the Cebu boutique has been designed with eco-friendly principles, adhering to LEED guidelines to promote energy efficiency and reduce the store’s environmental impact.
This new opening not only solidifies Gucci’s presence in the Philippines but also demonstrates the brand’s commitment to bringing luxury retail experiences to a broader audience.
The three other Gucci stores in the Philippines are located in Manila at Greenbelt 4, Shangri-La Plaza, and The Shoppes at Solaire.
