The premiere Sports Program of the Iloilo City government will be taking shape this January 13, 2020.
The Iloilo City Sports Academy (ICSA), the main sports program of the Iloilo City Sports Development Division, will be taking Iloilo City by storm as it doubled the expected number of enrollees.
Executive Assistant for Sports, Mr. Rudiver Jungco Sr., is excited and is overwhelmed with the desire shown not only by the Ilonggo athletes but also by their parents as well.
“Last Saturday, sa La Paz tennis court, gin tipon namon tanan nga parents and athletes who will join the ISA and I am very overwhelmed sang support nga ginpakita nila toward the program. They are showing that gina supportahan gid nila ang ila mga kabataan sa sports and nalipay gid kami,” Jungco told the Daily Guardian.
With the main aim of leveling up the Ilonggo athletes, the ICSA is recently receiving positive feedback from the planning stage up to now where hundreds of enrollees already registered and are ready to level up their skills towards sports.
The program will last a year and there will be an assessment every month to monitor the student’s progress in the sport he/she is listed.
