Our recent trip to Cebu made us realize that there is so much food to experience in this city aside from their dried mangoes and Lechon. We thank our friends in Cebu for making sure that we were able to experience everything Cebu has to offer. Here is the list of restaurants and cafes in Cebu that we think are worth your time.
La Vie in the Sky
One of our favorite places with an old Parisian theme. Every corner is Instagram-worthy and oh, the truffles are a must-try! This restaurant is the best place to go to if your idea of relaxation is to enjoy a panoramic view of the Cebu skyline over a bottle of wine, cold cuts, and cheese. They have a wide array of wines and French bread as well. La Vie in the Sky is located along the steep roads of Busay, Cebu City. The entrance fee is PHP 100 per head, but consumable.
Casa Verde
The American-style casual dining restaurant is known for its specialty, the baby back ribs. There is also their big bang burger, a 9-inch diameter burger loaded with pounds of meat, bacon, cheese and everything mouth-watering. It’s no surprise that people always flock this restaurant because aside from its delicious food, the price is really reasonable. Other must-tries are; the Milky Way milkshake, the biggest chocolate milkshake I’ve seen so far, and death by chocolate, a rocky road and chocolate ice cream cake with chocolate bar bits on a chocolate cookie crust.
21 KM Cafe
If you’re into affordable good food, good coffee with a breathtaking mountain view as a backdrop, 21 KM Cafe is for you. Although mobile signals can be really weak, this place is still worth it as it promises a truly relaxing escape. Our brunch there was a truly memorable experience!
