BACOLOD City – A man was gunned down in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
The victim was identified as Elmer Castor, 26, of Barangay Paitan.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Gil John Despi, city police chief, said the victim passed away in a hospital yesterday.
Investigation indicated that the victim was sitting on his motorcycle when an unidentified man approached and shot him hitting his head.
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
