Rhayyan Amsali is the king of HS basketball.

After leading the San Beda Red Cubs           to a championship since 2015, taking down the mighty Lyceum Jr. Pirates in the finals, Amsali’s growth then started to turn heads.

His leadership skills and versatile offensive artillery led him to winning the Finals MVP award, helping San Beda get back in the winning column in the NCAA juniors.

Amsali’s phenomenal NCAA season led him in earning one of the most prestigious acknowledgments in high school basketball, being named as the country’s number 1 basketball player by the NCAA NBTC.

Embracing the role as San Beda’s leader and main gunner, Amsali immediately took charge at the beginning of the season, taking the Red Cubs to a whole new level after stepping up in the much-needed clutch moments to help propel his squad to the title.

Coming in at number 2 is NCAA season MVP John Barba, who led Lyceum to the finals but fell in the hands of Amsali and San Beda.

Justine Sanchez of San Beda placed third, Mac Guadana of Lyceum at fourth, and Yukien Andrada at fifth.
