P340-K ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – At least 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 were seized by police operatives in a buy-bust operation at Purok Pilit 2, Barangay 6 here last Tuesday.

The subject was identified as Raven Golingay, 22, of the said village.

Golingay allegedly sold a shabu to a police agent for P15,000.

He is detained at Police Station 2.

Meanwhile, a jeepney driver was arrested after police intercepted him with a sachet of suspected shabu upon entering the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) headquarters here on that day.

Willy Satoc, 36, of Barangay Mandalagan here, was supposed to get his driver’s license at the headquarters that day, after it was confiscated for a violation.

However, when police asked him to present a citation ticket, a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 was seen falling from his pocket.

Satoc, in a media interview, said he forgot to keep the illegal drugs after he used it earlier that day.

“Nalipat ko, naipit lang sa citation ticket. Dyutay man lang gin gamit ko, bulong sa kakapoy. Wala ko ya gabaligya,” he said.

Satoc is detained at Police Station 8 and will be charged for illegal possession of dangerous drugs.

Also, two young men aged 18 and 23 were arrested after they were caught allegedly sniffing suspected shabu while in possession of a bladed weapon at Libertad Public Market in Barangay 40 here that night.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 6.
