ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Charges of syndicated estafa will be filed against the owner and chief executive officer (CEO) of the 25 Days Double your Money Investment Scheme after allegedly failing to return the money of its investors on February 20, 2021.

In a radio interview Saturday, Atty. Leo Superio, legal counsel of investor Katrina Aguirre, said he did not receive information or text messages that CEO Junelyn Obamos Gregorio will return the money of her investors and uplines.

Gregorio allegedly ignored Aguirre after purported irregularities in the investment scheme were exposed.

“We will surely file syndicated estafa against Gregorio for failing to meet her promises to her clients,” Superio said.

The camp of Aguirre claimed they have evidence to prove that she remitted the money to Gregorio, the brain behind the 25 Days Double your Money Investment Scheme.

Superio said his client was a victim both as investor and upline.

It was learned that the last time Aguirre remitted investment capital to Gregorio was on January 10-11, 2021 in the amount of PHP65-million.

Earlier, a lawyer of Aguirre confirmed that his client received death threats from unknown persons.

Lawyer Atlas Catalan said that the family of Gregorio decided not to report the death threats to the police or barangay officials to avoid complicating the alleged strafing of her house last February 4, 2021.

Because of the threats, Gregorio decided to deactivate her social media accounts and did not entertain calls to her phone.

But Gregorio assured her investors that she will release their partial investment capital on February 20.
